The Listening Project

The ‘listening post’ is conceived as a series of sculptures and recordings, that would grow in quantity and scope over the years, generating a spoken biography of the artist. A series of simple folds create transparent acrylic objects that accommodate various moods of the listener. The size and shape of these are limited by the size of the sheet and the economics of the heat moulding process. The different forms that result are all accompanied by a small table piece that houses the equipment for recordings.
